What we measure, and what we store to do it
Google Analytics counts pages, referrers and countries, and to do that it stores one first-party cookie in your browser so that several pages read in a row are understood as one visit rather than as strangers. The three advertising permissions - ad storage, ad personalisation and ad user data - are switched off, so nothing here is used to build an advertising audience or follow you to another site. Microsoft Clarity records the session itself - where the pointer moved, what was clicked, how far the page was scrolled - and builds heatmaps from it, so we can see which parts of a page are read and which are ignored. What you type into the forms on this site is masked before it leaves your browser and does not appear in those recordings. Write to the address on this page and we will delete what either of them holds about you.
External assets
Company favicons load from DuckDuckGo's icon service and two brand marks from the Simple Icons CDN. Those requests reveal your IP address to those services in the ordinary way any image request does.
The daily email
If you ask for the daily email we store the address you gave us, and which part of the site you gave it on. Nothing else - no name, and no account is created. Nothing has been sent yet; when it is, every one of those emails will carry an unsubscribe link, and using it will stop the mail immediately. We keep an unsubscribed address on a suppression list rather than deleting it, because that is the only way to be sure we do not write to you again.
Accounts
Accounts are created by signing in with Google. We receive your email address and name from Google and store those, your plan, and the watchlists, saved views and unlocked profiles you create. That is the complete list. We never see your Google password, and we do not sell, share or profile any of it.
Payments
We do not see or store your card. Payments are processed by Polar, who are the merchant of record for this product - they take the payment, issue the invoice and hold the card details. What reaches us is an order id, the amount, the currency and the email address you paid with, which is what lets us open your access and answer a question about it later.
The data we publish
The index concerns companies, not people. Where a company is a sole trader operating under a personal name, removal is available on request under the same one-day terms as any other listing.
The index holds 1,400+ products. Anything over $500K a month is marked as past the enterable line.

1,400+ products, priced from their own advertising, and the $500K a month line marked on each one - so you can see at a glance what is still enterable.
